I am an arab and i work in the windsor mill area. I have been looking for authentic arabic food nearby till i found about hummus corner. I like that you get to pick the type of wrap and the subway style of toppings choice. I ordered the chicken kebab wrap and sides of hummus and salad. The wrap was pretty big in size and prices were reasonable. Carla on the cashier is very friendly. Will come again.

I can die happy. When I became a vegetarian one month ago, I suffered a month of salad. Then I found my temple. My temple is owned by a man named Johnny and it's called Hummus Corner. I came at 7:30PM. I got the falafel platter. $9 something. I lifted the plate to my table. That's when it happened. The falafel, piping-hot, was strongly seasoned and tasted like it had been just born. The hummus - half sprinkled with lemon, half coated in fire pepper, was a revelation to what hummus could be. Impossibly fresh hummus. Hummus I'd drive a hundred miles for. I now continue on my life's journey, buoyed and profoundly enlightened by Johnny and his magical falafels. Long live Hummus Corner.

A local winner. As a small non-descript strip center eatery the Hummus Corner is a great addition to the NW Baltimore food landscape. While the predesigned menu options of traditional Mid Eastern cuisine are surprisingly delicious the select your own option allows you to creatively construct a tasty meal with plenty of fresh and delicious options. On my first visit I experimented with a Falafel and I added some of the homemade hummus and babaganosh. I also added fresh basil and some a really punchy hot spread/chutney and a side of eggplant fries. For less than $10 I had enough food for two and it tasted great and healthy too.

Super good! The falafel wrap is my favorite. The pita is delicious. Good options for vegetarians and vegans. My husband loves the shawarma and kebab wraps. The people there are really friendly and helpful. I love their food.

Holy shawarma! Delicious smells hit you as soon as you walk through the door. Had the chicken shawarma plate. Everything was delicious, but the hummus (!!!!!) was the star. Best hummus I've had. Also the pitas are super thin, not the standard too thick grocery store variety. They also use their pita bread to make the "croutons" on the Lebanese salad. I could eat a bowl of hummus with those crunchy pita bits and be happy. Very very happy.

The best Shawarma and Falafel spot in town. The food was very delicious and the staff were very helpful explaining everything on the menu.

If you like your food pickled than this is your place. The staff is friendly and oddly nonexistent at times. While we ate our food, they totally disappeared at times, but reappeared when we went to pay our bill. If you want better service and food go to Cilantro located just down the road a little further in New Town.

We were looking for something different to eat and decided on this place. We were all pretty novice on tasting Mediterranean/Lebanese cuisine. I Can't believe the hummus here!! I've had my fair share of hummus and I enjoy eating it because it's a healthy snack that you can have large quantities of without feeling guilty. This hummus is at a whole different level! The kids who are very picky eaters had the beef kabobs. They loved it! My wife had the chicken Shwarma pita, and I had the mixed grill plate with lentle soup. Wow! What a refreshing change for lunch! Will definitely be back for more!

Was my first exposure to this specific type of food and I was very pleased. Got the Beef Shawarma wrap which was very tasty and plenty of food. Also got a side falafel just to try it.. great crispy texture & flavor... served piping hot. I still have the other half of the wrap waiting for me later today. Recommended:)

What a delightful find on a random visit to Owings Mill. Everything in this place was delicious! We got an order of hummus, eggplant fries, and both got a wrap. You could tell that everything was made fresh and with a lot of thought. I would highly recommend this place and wish they would open up one in the District!!!

I wanted to like this place sooo much! The staff was very friendly and nice, service was appropriately quick. Atmosphere- clean, bright, nothing fancy - standard decent carry-out. A few tables on a small floor, large counter where you order. But...the food.... I ordered a chicken kabob platter. Good deal= 12 bucks, you get rice, chicken, Lebanese salad, pita, humus, and a garnish of diced canned olives, eggplant pickle, cucumber pickle. Predominant flavor-- Salt. Rice was rice- what can you say. Pita- room temp, leathery, likely store bought. Sad. Chicken- flavor was mostly salty, lots of garlic, texture was good in mouth-- but appearance!! It looked like it was stuck partially in a meat grinder, then chopped- almost didn't eat it appearance was so off-putting. It was acceptable enough when tried, but the appearance was ICK! Salad- salt, chopped lettuce, salt, cucumber, salt, tomato bit, salt, salt, salt.... Humus was decent-- no different than say a plastic thingee of Sabra... Ice tea was good- strong, decent iced tea. All in all-- will not be back! Should be renamed "Salt Lick Corner"-- also extra pissed because I gained 3 pounds water weight eating there!! BTW- Humus is EASY: 1 can chickpeas, drained (apx 1 3/4 cup) 2 tbsp tahini 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 2 tbsp good extra virgin olive oil 2-3 cloves peeled fresh garlic Put all in blender or food processor, process until smooth - you gots good homemade hummus! Taste a bit before you take out of blender- canned beans are salty enough for me, but you may wish to add salt. Sometimes I add a bit of black pepper or cumin, maybe extra tahini and lemon juice, roasted red bell pepper or some cayenne can be nice... Falafel is easy to! 1 cup chickpea or chickpea/fava flour (health food stores always have it) 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cumin 2 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp cayenne or red pepper flakes 2-3 minced cloves garlic 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper 1 tbps freshly minced flat leaf parsley or cilantro (interesting variation- season with fresh grated nutmeg and cinnamon, too- 1/4 tsp of each) Mix all above with 1/2 cup warm water- can adjust water to a stiff batter as needed- let chill in fridge for about an hour at least- can go all day if you want! Heat about 1-2 inches of olive oil in deep skillet- use spoon to scoop out small balls- fry until crisply and golden. Serve with warmed pita or lavash, hot sauce, yougurt and/or tahini sauce, chopped fresh tomato, cucumber, and onion....mmmmm

The food is absolutely delicious! I finally know what a falafel is supposed to taste like. The falafel platter is a great deal, and more than enough to satisfy two people. Amazing and authentic!

Delicious, fresh, friendly, healthy hummus wraps and platters. The garlic sauce is phenomenal if you love garlic, be sure to ask for a spread of it on your hummus wrap. The platter will keep you full for two meals, if you can't decide go with the mixed grill platter so you can get a sampling of all their meats and hummus. Great casual lunch spot or quick weeknight carry out treat!

Although I literally live around the corner from here, I've only been here once but definitely have plans to come back. The lunch special really can't be beat. The falafel was tasty and the salad was not too powerfully dressed. I'm not the biggest hummus fan, but once I had some from here, I'm a little more eager to give hummus some more lovin' in the future.

This is the kind of place that makes me trust Yelp implicitly. It looks sketchy, and at first you feel foolish for having driven so far based on a review, but it's absolutely worth the trip for the knockout food. We ordered our favorite Middle Eastern dishes, and all were about the closest we've come to authentic in Baltimore. Creamy hummus, worth naming a restaurant after. Mellow, spiced lentil soup. Crunchy falafel and lemony tahini sauce (falafel was not as herby as I'm used too, but texture and seasoning was good.) Lightly-dressed salad (the greens could have been greener, but the sumac dressing was perfect.) Smoky, chunky eggplant in the baba ganoush. Thin, papery pita to mop everything up. We were in heaven. We skipped meat that night, but I would like to return to try their shwarma, and I told the guy working the counter, they need to start making kibbeh! That's the only thing missing from this experience. Well, okay, they also need a better setup -- they have a looooooong counter with a bar and a few tables in the front, but the ceilings are way too high and warehouse-like for such good food. Too much styrofoam, too. But these are all external trappings and hardly detract from what is really remarkable food. We don't get to Owings Mills often, but that might have to change!

I ordered to eat in with a platter. The food is decent I just was expecting more flavor. I had the hummus and baba ghanouj(more properly known as entabal batinjein because baba ghanouj is eggplant without the tahini sauce) I have falafel as well and the fattoush salad. The falafel is definitely from a box which is why I give 3 stars. The meza might need extra flavor or love In any case I will try again someday

I love this place, it really has something for everyone! The shwarma is juicy and flavorful, the falafel crisp outside and moist inside, the lebanese cheese rolls simply melt in your mouth and leave you wanting more, and everything is made fresh to order! Bring the family, and everyone will leave fat and happy for a very good price. The recently added vegetarian stuffed grape leaves, and we devoured each and every one long after we were stuffed to bursting.

The best middle eastern food in the area by far. I would absolutely recommend this place. I go about once a week when I am working.I can tell you from the outside it looks like a hole in the wall restaurant. By god is it a good hole in the wall though. The food is great and I would recommend the shawarma, and put a good amount of toppings on it. Can't go wrong and will fill you. One or both of the owners is always usually there. They work incredibly hard to make sure everyone gets their food correctly. If they mess up they always take responsibility. Love this place. Give it a try!

We ate here last Sunday at around 1:30pm and the place was not only empty with no customers, half the lights were off and no one was behind the counter. Should have left then. After calling for someone to come help we selected the mixed platter, falafel and an order of hummus. The food is not made fresh and heated in a microwave. The chicken and meat were very dry. The most disappointing part was the falafel which was clearly frozen, not taste and oily inside. Ironically the restaurant is named Hummus Corner - and that was the worst part of the whole meal. It was tasteless and had a weird consistency. Maybe during the week when more customers are there it is better and food is cooked fresh, but that was not our experience. For that reason we will not be back.

Great food, good prices and great service. I had never been to Owings Mills and i found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed and ended up going 2 days in a row. If I'm ever in Owings Mills again this will be where I get lunch.

Authentic garlic paste, pickles and tahini. Chicken fair-- not really shawarma style. Falafel hot but also not authentic. Good baklava. With all they said, friendly service, good food and worth it! Recommended!

Aaaaaaaaaamazing! I live in the city, and this place is absolutely worth the drive! Yes it is on the corner of a strip mall, and looks very uninviting from the outside... and even on the inside... but do not let that hinder your decision to eat here! IT IS SO GOOD! I just ate it for lunch and am already craving it again! My friend who lives in the area introduced me, and since I was very confused and didn't know what to order, I took her advice and got the Chicken Shis Taouk Platter and she ordered extra tahini sauce on the side, so I did as well! And oh boy! It was one of the best chicken and rice platters I have ever had. The hummus and pita that came with was seriously the best I have ever had! Second time there, I ordered the Chicken Shis Taouk wrap (adventurous to deviate from my first meal I know... but they had a deal for $5 wraps!!! Sign up for their emails and follow them on Facebook!). Anyway, they have a Subway/Chipotle like counter, where you can ask for certain things on your wrap. I asked for the normal wrap ingredients and added hots, and again, it did not disappoint (however I would recommend the platter, you just get so much food). You can get a small side of hummus and pita for like $2... its a perfect addition to the wrap! Needless to say, in the two times I have been here i received enough food that filled me that night, and I had enough for lunch the next day! Love this place... open a location in the city!!!!!! Please!!!!

I'm not new to the hummus world but I definitely was getting tired of buying Sabra at the market all the time. But I was introduced to this place in the form of a platter a friend of mine purchased and what I had was veeery good. So I decided to make the trek here especially, unbeknownst to me, after I received an e-mail of wrap specials they were having ($5 any wraps). First time here to explore everything on the menu so I was just a tad overwhelmed on what to get, but the owner was definitely helpful in helping me make my choices. So I opted to mainly get the vegetarian wraps (Cheese, Hummus, & Falafel). I was quite hungry so I took a bite of all 3 and the flavors were delish. I just went with the house choice for now because I wanted to experience the wrap first before I go back trying to add anything extra. But I will say, the wraps were good as is where you do not have to add any extras at all. Therefore, it is a must for me to go back and try the other wraps with a bottle of wine. #WrapItUp

First off, the staff is super friendly and the prices are very reasonable, so this may be a place i would go to from time to time if I lived in the area. However, with regards to their food, I think this place is overrated. My friend and I got the falafel platter, and the chicken schwarma with two sides. Nothing stood out, and nothing tasted fresh. The hummus was okay. The chicken in the schwarma was very dry. Like a previous reviewer wrote, I too had to wash it down with some water - and the taste was lacking too. The eggplant (baba ganouj) had no flavor with the exception of some red spice thrown on top (paprika? perhaps). It tasted very similar to the hummus - the only aspect that differed between the two was the texture. The falafels were a bit cold in the center and the sauce that came with it was tasteless. -- It may have helped if they fried their falafels when the order was placed rather than popping it in what sounded like a microwave/toaster oven?

Super quick service / friendly staff / Reasonable price & freedom to customize entrees - USP for this place .. Negative point - location & the seating area .. Very small - at max 20-25 people can fit in with the available seating arrangement .. Food was fine in quality & taste is good , nothing great, had more delicious food before but surely you get what you pay for .. will go again here, when I am in the area ..

Went in for lunch a few weeks back, wish I hadn't. Hummus was bland, food was over cooked and dry. Not going back for sure. Very friendly staff but not very quick service considering I was 1 of 3 customers at the time.

I'm fairly new to Lebanese food in general but I have been a full on hummus fanatic for quite some time. Their's does not disappoint. I went traditional but that's because I fancy myself a snobby butthole. I also got the Beef Shawarma Wrap which was phenomenal. It was my first taste of Shawarma and I am now a lifelong fan of this dish as well. Those bold mediterranean spices really tingle the old nutsack. The two gentlemen who helped me were very friendly. One I assume was the owner as he had that vibe to him as he was walking around. Good times. My only concern is that it was virtually empty inside when I arrived. Come on, jerks! Go get some hummus!!!

My family and I love this place and we have tried almost everything on their menu. The baba ghanoush and hunmus are fantastic, as are all of the wraps and salads. Their falafel has more flavor than most so prepare yourself. The lentil soup is too deceptively great, as it is mild, but it is the best soup I've ever had at a restaurant. I could eat it every day. I highly recommend trying the appetizer sampler your first visit. The service is great, always with a smile, and the food is prepared quickly. My five year old loves the chicken nuggets and French fries. In fact my son asks to go to Hummus Corner about once a week.

  • Kara W.

Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap. The young man behind the counter asked which toppings I wanted (up to 5). I opted to try it the way the house recommends it- on a wheat tortilla (not a pita wrap as expected). The menu describes it a grilled pieces of marinated chicken tender breast, lettuce, fries, garlic paste and pickled cucumbers After he made the wrap, he placed it on a panini press. I had never had a hot wrap before, so I was excited...maybe too excited. The wrap was huge. The chicken pieces were more like bits than strips or chunks. I can't say for sure that the chicken had been grilled, but I doubt it. And, I did not taste the normal spices that accompany the traditional dish (cumin, paprika, allspice, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne). All I tasted was dryness and salt. As I write this review, I'm reaching for a glass of water. I fell bad writing this because the people there are so nice. But, it is what it is...even though I wish it wasn't

I've always ordered the beef shawarma here. Being raised in Dubai, I know the taste that I constantly look for in shawarmas. I gotta hand it to them, the taste is authentic. The staff is super friendly. The good thing about this place is that you can customize your wrap, add toppings, etc. During the holidays, I always buy their shawarma platter and the kabob platter. The owner is easy to work with and very friendly. I drive all the way from White Marsh to satisfy my cravings. HINT: Get added to their mailing list to receive deals and specials.

Horrible! Maybe it was just the time we came. The wheat wraps where stale and tasted bland. The food was bland the beef was flavorless burnt hamburger. Service was slow slow slow. I would not eat there again. How others reviewed this good is beyond me.

  • Michelle R.

I would give it 2.5 stars, my husband would give it 5, so I thought a nice four rounded it out. I love spice, not heat, spice. He gets overwhelmed by a complexity of flavors. Pros: Very quick Platters are large Very friendly staff Small Business, seems to be run by the owner. The Hummus is amazing Cons: Food is not super authentic- Shwarma seemed to be cooked and THEN spiced chicken. It is not slow cooked, and the spices are not completely Lebanese (I couldn't identify signature things, like Cinnamon or Cardamom that make the dish). It was bland, and it was dry. The Tahini was lacking. A bit overpriced. If you want a good experience, with nice people, and OK food, this is it. If you want great food, you may want to search out someplace else.

Holy moly, the wraps here are massive. It's a simple concept, you stare at the options you want in your pita and the staff throws it together for you in a tortilla-thing of sorts. I ordered a falafel wrap. It was okay, I've had better. The staff suggested adding mint to it, so I tried it. Falafel and hummus wraps are pretty nifty with mint. They also can warm up your wrap....like a panini! I thought the panini-press treatment was pretty awesome and made the wrap delightfully crunchy. You could share the wrap, since it is cut in two, and be totally satisfied. I still prefer Tahinas, but the wraps at Hummus Corner are bigger and they are toasted.

Had falafels, baba ghanooj, hummus; my friend had the spicy wrap. All was delicious and also very reasonably priced! Would enjoy again. It is BYOB but not really a cozy atmosphere for long afternoon conversations and drinking. More of a quick lunch place, in my opinion.

Our favorite Friday night spot!!! The falafel wrap is my ultimate fav and I cannot get enough. My husband loves the chicken shawarma. The owner is always friendly, warm and inviting. During hard times they were there for our family and we will always be there to support them.

This has been my go-to lunch spot 2x per week for the past year. Excellent food. Great people. The hummus and the wraps are tasty - I recommend a Wrap combo with hummus and salad.

Being a huge fan of Tahina's I thought I'd try Hummus Corner when on that side of town. You get huge portions but I found the oil they fried the falafel in really tainted the taste. I was not a fan of anything I ordered.

  • judi m.

Hummus Corner is tiny, a long counter for ordering and a few small tables, lighting is bright flourescent. I'm also not a fan of the Styrofoam and plastic utensils. It's best to do carryout. The hummus is excellent, the shwarma is a favorite. Even thought the food is good I haven't been back since I found a long piece of string in a shwarma. I don't know how this could have been overlooked by the cook.

This is that place I go to when I have neither the time nor the energy to cook. This place bills their falafel as "Lebanese". While I've never been to Lebanon and can't vouch for Lebanese falafel, I can say the taste is not for me. I have been assured by the owner that they make the falafel fresh every day, and that they use a special Lebanese mold to form them. They also have a great deal on wraps, which you can get with some unusual toppings (I'm pretty sure I'm in a love-hate relationship with the pickled stuff they offer The hummus, however, is really good - as in I crave it sometimes good. And if you just get the hummus and falafel or hummus and pita, they give you about a gallon of hummus for a really reasonable price. Also, the guys who work there hit on me every single time I go - in a weird way. And I'm NEVER in my attractive state when I go there. And usually have my baby with me. So that kind of ups the creepiness factor. Summary: While the falafel isn't what I'm used to, you should definitely get the hummus. To go.

The only reason I'm even docking one star is because I had to brush my teeth about 10 times and take about 8 tums due to the extreme amount of garlic I consumed. We came last week and tried a bunch of different stuff... the appetizer combo (falafels, hummus, mediterranean snack roll and Lebanese salad served with pita bread), kofta kebab (grilled minced beef, hummus, tomato, parsley, onions and ground sumac) and the Lebanese pizza (six mini slices of toasted pita pie topped with dry thyme, sesame seeds, olive oil and pomegranate sauce). Everything was good. The hummus wasn't the best I'd ever had, but still really good, and there was some spice (a cinnamon-y spice) in the kofta kebab that I didn't really like. The falafel was really, really good, as was the pizza. The garlic sauce was awesome but I honestly don't know that I could get it again since it had such an intense effect! I really like Tahina's which is right up the street, but this seems way more authentic. Also, fountain orange soda is always a thumbs up in my book.

Found this place while taking a training class in Lutherville. The reviews don't lie. I ordered the chicken schawarma lunch, which came with hummus and a side salad, accompanied with delicious mix of homemade refillable lemonade and sweet tea(Arnold Palmer meets the Mediterranean). Service was wonderful, I highly recommend this when you are in the area.

It had been a few weeks since I'd had me some falafel and I was getting a hankering for some crispy, delicious, chickpea goodness. The problem is that my only knowledge of falafel near the owings mills area was tahinas. Now when tahinas first opened I was impressed and went often. That was around 4 years ago and The place has gone severely downhill. Needless to say eating there was not an option. Hummus corner is luckily awesome. For five bucks I got a very decent sized (would be legitimately big for some) falafel wrap. The falafel was fresh an so were the condiments...and I love me some pickled turnips. Putting The wrap in the panini press was a nice touch as it really warms the whole wrap through. Overall the restaurant was nice, clean, and the food was good. What else can you ask for. If you are in the owings mills area and enjoy falafel get over to this place and let's keep it busy!

I've been visiting Hummus Corner for a little over a year and have yet to have one bad experience. Yes, this is mainly due to my addiction to hummus and falafel, but the Chicken Shish Taouk is a sure bet, also. The service is wonderful, even though I rarely take the owner's advice about trying the other items on the menu. You make the falafels too good sir. Somewhere there are chick peas dreaming about ending up at Hummus Corner. Keep the dream alive lil dudes.

I like it. I promise to take pics before I eat next time. When they say the portions are large, they're not kidding. One falafel or schawarma probably totals a little over 12" in length. The beef schawarma left a little to be desired. The falafel wasn't bad, but not the best. The star of the meal was the chicken schawarma. He has a new marinated cubed chicken that's not on the menu yet. It's full of flavor and very delicious. I would also recommend the Mediterranean rolls. They could use a little more cheese inside, but they're still very good. I love the way everything is slightly toasted to give it that perfect crisp. Recommended over Tahina's.

Had this for the first time yesterday. I ordered take out, and they heated my wraps for me before sending me on my way. I haven't had really good falafel or schwarma since 2011. The falafel is awesome. The hummus is soooooooo good. So thankful to have good Lebanese food so close!!

Excellent food. Fair prices. Portion sizes good. You should not go wrong with anything on the menu. The chicken Shawarma meal is great. Hummus quality is good. Perhaps a bit too much oil on top. One more suggestion to improve quality would be to cook the chicken a little less as it can be quite dry. The flavor is there so I kind of overlook that but if I'm being fair the pieces should be a little bigger to retain a fresh and juicy flavor and cooked to order. It seems precooked as I don't get the sense they grill it in real time but just a guess. Never dined in restaurant always get delivery. Delivery is friendly and timely. Ordering online is convenient and easy. However, they do tend to call you anyway to confirm ETA, which is nice but when the phone rings you will under the false impression your food is here. Still better than going out to get yourself. Also, if you put any special requests like "side of rice pilaf" expect a call on that, their website isn't setup to charge for that apparently. However, when I canceled the extra side of rice because I didn't feel like going through the process of ordering and paying again the order showed up with the rice. Very kind. It seems like the owner is pretty hands on as I'm quite certain he's called regarding our order and made several deliveries himself, although I didn't confirm this. All in all, never a bad experience and a nice change of pace compared to getting pizza delivery.

We got catering here and I was pretty impressed with both the quality of everything as well as how yummy everything stayed even though it sat outside for an hour (our own fault, not HC's). I really liked their appetizers (the seasoned pitas were delish) and their kabobs were all equally yummy. Fully recommend. The service and ease I had with ordering the catering order was a breeze as well. Thanks, Johnny.

YUM, this place is so good. The falafel and babaganoush are my favorite. I like the appetizer sampler because it has a little bit of everything that I like. The pickled turnips are weird. But good somehow. I don't typically get the wraps, but when I see them I always think they look good. I'm just never that hungry because they are HUGE!

Wow. Great food great prices. Had kofta Kebobs that were outstanding. Came with foutosh salad, rice, eggplant and the best pita. The garlic spread is tasty and will ward off and vamps. A great place to eat and friendly.

I absolutely love this place. The portions are large and the prices are surprisingly low. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and the food is delicious. The owner's goal, as he explained to me, is to differentiate his establishment from places like Tahina's by offering Mediterranean food that is more authentic. I'm not really a good judge of how authentic it is, but It certainly tastes different - and better - than most anything else I've tasted (not to slight Tahina's, which is an excellent place as well). Their hummus is especially noteworthy (as it should be based on its name). It's thick and rich, with a stronger sesame taste than the hummus I've had from the grocery stores and other restaurants - much to my delight. Even the bread they use for the wraps is fantastic. Very thin and gets nice and crisp around the edges after they warm it up. Oh, and try their cookies (the barazi I believe their named), delicious.

Always a pleasure to see a locally owned restaurant do a great job. Ownership is very welcoming and helpful. The food options are plentiful and the flavors always seem to come together as they should. Have been a repeat customer ever since I began working in the Owings Mills area. Try some of the appetizer combos as it has just the right variety of items to satisfy.

The lunch special is a silly amount of food for $8. Finishing the whole thing will put you in an afternoon food coma. But it's hard to stop with how good it is.

I'm not really sure what the bruhaha is over this place. Maybe it's because there are so few med places in Owings Mills?? I thought the food was just okay. I got the mixed grill platter and it was ready in oh about five minutes?? Why so fast?? Because the meat was already cooked and they just threw it all in with some rice, salad, and hummus. Ugh. I definitely prefer it when they cook the meat fresh to order. The meat definitely tasted kind of old, and wasn't very flavorful. The hummus was okay as well, but again I've tasted better. The salad also was kind of wilty and seemed old. The owner was really excited when he served me, talking about how I'm going to love the food and will definitely be back. Uhh...I didn't hate the food but I wasn't blown out of the water either. So maybe I'll be back because I live so close...maybe...

I'm a pretty dedicated Hummus Corner patron. Opened a bit less than a year ago, I'm thrilled to see they seem to have a pretty steady flow of customers-- their location has changed hands a number of times over the last ten years. The staff is friendly, genuinely invested in whether you enjoy your meal and making sure you get what you want. I've been in there enough times that they now remember me. I have always gotten wraps. The chicken wrap is absolutely addictive. The chicken is so tender and flavorful, and coupled with hummus and some veggies warmed up in their thin bread and toasted it's just out of this world. A wrap is plenty of food, too. That and a fountain soda is about eight bucks. Pro tip: be cautious with the garlic spread. I LOVE garlic, but it is seriously potent. It's delicious, a great addition to a wrap, but it will rock your breath.

Everything I have had here has been great. I can leave here feeling completely full and happy, but still feel like I've eaten healthy. If you're a meat lover, the mixed grill is fantastic and a ton of food. The chicken and hummus based dishes are excellent as well. And the owners are really friendly and welcoming. We've also used their catering platters and they were very popular.

Fantastic falafel. Great everything, really. My favorite is the chicken shish taouk. I hadn't heard of it before I went there and now it's the only thing I get. SO much food for not much money.

Excellent food with friendly staff. I especially enjoy the Beef Shawarma Platter. When you have a craving for Mediterranean...run, don't walk to Hummus Corner!

The beef shawarma and hummus were pretty middle of the road, but the baba ghannouj was very good - nice smoky flavor. Overall four stars for the price and nice fresh veggies. Definitely worth stopping by!

I just moved to the area and was looking for some good places to eat. I tried this place not knowing what to expect. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything is fresh and delicious. There are also large portion sizes. The combo can last me for two meals. I just went back again and the food was just as good as the first time. I will definitely be going back again. Staff is friendly as well.

I can't believe this is so close to my house. The hummus is out of this world good, and the wraps... oh the wraps. So far, we've had the potato, the kofta, the shwarma, and the shish kabob wraps. You can choose your own fillings, or go with what the chef suggests, which is what we did. Each wrap is warmed in a press to perfection. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients, and the recipes the owner uses to cook everything are top notch. My husband and I are total meat lovers (and the meat is perfect), but you really have to try the potatoes. I don't know what they do to them, but they are so absolutely perfect. I'm completely full right now, and still want to eat at least 2 more servings of them. While my husband and I are down for eating some great Lebanesse food, my 3 year old isn't. But no fear here... they have a kids menu. My son got a grilled cheese and devoured it... every last bite (and he is extremely picky!) And really, you can't beat the price. The wraps are about 12 inches, I think and under $10. We got a hummus platter, our sons meal, drinks, cookies (which you must try!) and two meat wraps for under $25. YOU MUST GO HERE! Don't be thrown off by Hummus Corner being in a little strip mall. This is some seriously good food!

Excellent and authentic lebanese cuisine at great prices. I enjoyed the appetizer sampler and manoushi which was more than enough for one. They have the best bread, hummus and baba ganoush I have tried anywhere. My wife also raved about the falafel and beef shawarma. I can't wait to go back and try more.

Food is fresh and clean on the palate. The owners, Johnny and Carla, and staff are friendly in this quaint and cozy restaurant. The wraps are very good and the chicken wrap, the house special, is especially good. Every once in a while there will be an off menu item that is worth trying. The prices are relatively cheap and the trip is especially worth it.

My fiancé picked up food from here tonight. We'd been wanting to try it for awhile and neither of us felt like cooking. I had a falafel wrap and he had the swharma wrap and we split the hummus dip. The hummus was very good, it tasted fresh and had the perfect amount of olive oil. My falafel wrap was good, I really enjoyed the tahini sauce!

A cut above - the best hummus and falafel in town! Freshly prepared, quality ingredients, authentically delicious. And because they don't use filler in their falafels, they are gluten free. This is a family run business, which makes it even nicer.

Owner took the time to go over the menu to my wife and I in great detail. Our felafel wraps were absolutely delicious. The hummus was delicious as well as the Babaganouj. Very large portions just like others have pointed out. We were stuffed and had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Genuine Mediterranean food in your neighborhood strip mall! We will be back.

I was so excited to try this place based on the reviews! I looked on the website for specials and they had a lunch salad pictured that looked delicious and I wanted to try. When I got there, walked in, and ordered the place was empty. The service was good and prompt and I placed my order for the $2.50 salad special. It was made in the back room and I was handed a small salad with wilted looking lettuce and some chopped tomato pieces. I love salad, and I ate less than half of this. honestly, I feel I got ripped off. For $2.75 after tax I got a salad smaller than a mcdonalds or Wendy's side salad that wasn't as good! I love Greek and Lebanese food, and wish I had ordered something else because I am honestly so turned off by the salad I am never going back.
